my husband took loan and held credit cards in dubai, uae and now he is in india?
my husband took loan and held credit cards in dubai, uae and now he is in india, is it possible that banks from dubai make problem for him here in india. he left dubai because he lost his job and banks were tourchering him to pay the money otherwise they were supposed to file police case resulting which he might have landed in jail, thus he left dubai and came back to india. is there any threat for him here in india. pls guide. thanks. sandhya
It would be incredibly stupid.
1. You live in an international world, where your records (especially banking ones) are now being compared between international companies. As such if you skip out on a large debt in your name (with identifying characteristics like DOB, passport #, etc) you will eventually have to pay it back. I have known people to skip out on debts in foreign countries, only to have to pay it off 10 to 20 years down the line, when they wanted to finance a house, or buy into a company.
