Continental Credit Card: 25000 miles?
The offer says you can get your 25,000 bonus miles after your first purchase. I know it says it takes 6-8 weeks to show up on your account but how soon can you use those miles? Do I have to wait a full year before using them?
That will amount to about a $250 ticket – but they will charge you about twice as much for it once you go to make the airline reservations through their site. You’ll need 50,000 to get a descent ticket.
Airline miles never amount to much – just ask anyone that has tried to redeem them.
Stick to a cash back credit card that can give you at least 1% cash back.
I’m a cost analyst and have done the math – you are always better off with cash back.
Please talk to someone that has used airline miles – chances are you won’t find anyone.
